A Jun E Photo Shoot!

In Jun E events on March 31, 2011 at 6:09 am

Hi All,

We would like to take this time to thank all of  our Jun E Models for doing an excellent job at last Saturday’s photo shoot in Charlotte, NC.  We would also like to shout out JMT Photography for capturing some pretty Jun E and hilarious moments during the shoot.  Jim Merrill is absolutely wonderful and his wife, Mari is a jewel.  The Jun E Caniel Team is so thankful and blessed to know and meet such amazing people!

We are preparing to launch our kid’s line under Jun E Caniel called Jun E Caniel Misfits, and we had many, many beautiful children to pick from for our model selection.  We did not get to shoot everyone we picked, however everything happens for a reason and the models who were able to make it did a super Jun E job!  Wow!  These kids are amazing, as you will see when we complete our website renovation.  Parents, you were great and we are so blessed to have met you and appreciate you letting your children be a part of the Jun E Movement.  It is our endeavor to maintain a lifelong connection with your families.

Kudos to our adult models, Diona and Tyrell (affectionately known to us as “Tate”)!  You guys were unbelievable!  We hope you will grace us with your infectious personalities and good looks again in the future. 😉

Stay tuned, Jun E Family for some shots & out-takes from the shoot!

Living without limits

In Daily Inspiration on March 21, 2011 at 12:38 pm

Oh boy its a Jun E day!  Thoughts of greatness flash before my eyes like lighting in the sky. As I look at life, there are literally no barriers. For years, athletes attempted to run a mile for four minutes but it seemed to be a barrier that no one could overcome. Then on May 6, 1954, Roger Gilbert Bannister ran a mile in 3:59.4 minutes to establish a world record . It took no time for runners to break Bannister’s record. What happened?

Too often, we accept conventional wisdom as fact. I suspect most of this comes from our fear. May be it comes from the way we are educated. Life offers more than one answer, more than one way to get to your dreams. Life is a multiple guess test, and we are always finding new and innovative ways to create things.  Make sure you set your goals high enough. Don’t settle for less because of limitations you place upon yourself. Most of us never really reach the level of achievement of which we are capable because we don’t challenge ourselves to do so. A wise man once said, ” A man’s reach should exceed his grasp, or what’s a heaven for?”

Jun E Caniel Gives to Japan

In Jun E events, Jun E Gives on March 20, 2011 at 6:23 pm

Growing up in St. Thomas Virgin Islands I have been a part of two category 5 Hurricanes.  I have seen roofs taken up by the wind in front of my eyes. I have even witness logs of wood penetrating my window and blood shed as the result,  however I cannot fathom what the people of Japan are going through.  I’m unable to comprehend what it is like to live under rubble for days, hoping that someone comes to your rescue. Our hearts and prayers go out to all the people effected by the tsunamis. Jun E Caniel will continue to support the relief efforts in Japan.  Jun E Caniel is giving ten percent of monthly sales to the relief efforts of Japan. We ask that you join us along with the many people and companies who have given their prayers, love, money, and time.  We have listed organizations that you can donate to for the relief of Japan. Our actions, and thoughts are what make us human. We must reflect the correct image of humanity on each other. No matter what color, country, gender, or sexual orientation you are, we are connected. We are part of the beautiful human race. Be Jun E! Lend a helping hand in anyway that you can. If you can’t give, pray.

One Person Away

In Thoughts on March 19, 2011 at 5:35 am

I must say life is a beautiful thing, although at times challenging for most go-getters. You know, I can see why most people give in to society and settle on mediocre lives.  Few and far between have I met people who are in search to create their best self. I know one thing is for certain, at some point we all are dreamers. We all want to be great. Now how the journey ends, that’s another story. It is a long painstaking journey. On the way you will encounter many bumps and bruises. It’s hard! I will be the first to admit it, however there is just something inside of me that won’t allow me to be satisfied with the status quo. It’s something inside me that continues to see the world as it ought to be, and for some reason will not deviate. You can call me a dreamer like my sister often did, but I live to create a better world. I have dedicated my life to improving humanity and inspiring billions of people.

An old associate called me today and said, ” I am just one person away from being great”. I sit here at 12:44 am thinking about this statement.   After long deliberation I have to agree. I think we are all one person away from being great. So we spend most of our lives searching for this person. We dress up and go to meetings, hoping that we meet that one person that understands us, that one person to give us our big break. That one person who could fund our idea or business.  That person who will give us a job. That one person who might accept us for who we are. We search high and low, and we audition for TV shows in an effort to be discovered. It’s a rat race for those who want to get to the top, but compromise everything to get there.

We been searching for this person and the whole time we are that person.  The one person who happens to be the most important in the world has been with us since birth. We see the person everyday when we brush our teeth, or walk by mirrors in the mall.  I’m reminded tonight that in fact we all are one person away from greatness. That person is us! It’s who we are naturally…naturally great.

Laughing at yourself

In Uncategorized on March 19, 2011 at 5:22 am

We would like people to share a time when they couldn’t help but laugh at themselves.  It can be very therapeutic to laugh at yourself.  Here is mine:

Okay I was at a basketball tournament recently, and the their was around 10,000-15,000 people in attendance. Well, as we were leaving the arena, I ran into one of the polls located in the middle of the aisle. Now mind you I had the flu and 105 degree temperature. So I was able to play that off, then on the way down the stairs, I fell face first down the stairs. I was so embarrassed I started to laugh and skipped away joyfully. To me it was really hilarious, however I think the people of bobcat arena got a better laugh.

Love

In Thoughts on March 17, 2011 at 9:05 pm

I love a lot about you all! I love your fearless and imaginative spirits. I love the fact that you haven’t grown up yet and have no intentions of being a “grown up”. I love your bold demeanor when it comes to stepping out and believing in yourself. I love that every time I look at my side you are there, no matter the circumstances. I love that you breathe faith, hope, and love into humanity. That everyday you wake up and dream of a better world.  I love the way that you question and defy the stagnation of our societies ideals in such a cunning way.  I love looking into your eyes, filled with endless opportunities. I love your strength and ability to overcome the mindset of the masses.  I love the way you give back to the world, by breathing your Jun E air into others. Forever going forward, and never taking a step back. I love you. You have continue to inspire me everyday. There are days I feel like giving in, but how could I, when I have to face you. You are so vast, vast as the endless ocean unnamed.

I love the way you speak of your dreams. So vivid and clear, inscribing a beautiful masterpiece on my mind. You move, talk, and exist with such passion. If your passion was energy, you could light the whole world with it. I love that we bonded on the bottom, and now I dream of us dancing with the stars on the top. One day! One day soon our dreams will manifest as we continue to unfold ourselves. We created a community of greatness, and now we are forced to sustain it. Forever young, forever dreamers, I look forward to getting much needed rest on that private jet.

Postive Community

In Daily Inspiration on March 14, 2011 at 2:47 pm

Most of us want to be positive, and successful people. We must make sure that we choose our friends accordingly. Positive friends and role models will have a positive effect upon you, while negative friends will soon kill your initiative.  Do not allow yourself to be lulled into complacency by the masses who believe mediocrity is an acceptable alternative. You must always focus on the possibilities for success, not the potential for failure.  When ever your in doubt of yourself, have a conversation with a positive, supportive friend. If it takes a village to raise a child, then it takes a community of positive supportive people to help you become successful.  Everyone needs a boost now and again; make sure your friends are positive, success-oriented people who always build you up, not negative thinkers who always seem to find a way to tear you down.  Be Jun E! Build a positive community around you.

Give to Get

In Daily Inspiration on March 12, 2011 at 4:29 am

The most fertile soil in the world is barren unless seeds have been properly planted, cultivated, and nurtured. The relationship between giving and getting is constant in everything you do. To be successful, you must first invest a generous portion of your time and talents if you expect ever to ear a return on your investment. You have to give before you get. It’s all a matter of attitude. Don’t get me wrong, there will be times you are disappointed if you are not rewarded for your efforts, but if you demand payment for your services before you render them, you can expect a lifetime of disappointment and frustration. If you cheerfully do your best before asking for any compensation, you can expect a bountiful harvest of greatest rewards life has to offer.  Be Jun E! Give your all to your dreams!

A Jun E Reflection

In Thoughts on March 12, 2011 at 4:05 am

It’s a nice Saturday night in March. I’m home reflecting on my life, as I do often. Just reflecting on the last year even. I often think about my constant hunger to be successful and where it has taken me. I often feel like I speak a different language from most. A lot happened when I committed to live my life the way I wanted. When I decided to step out and create the things that I dream of. When I decided to dream the dream and live it as if it was a dream. A lot happened when I begin to find out just how powerful our minds really are. When I put my foot down and decided that I want to live a certain way. My family abandoned me because they didn’t understand. So-called friends disappeared in fear. Everything comes at a magnificent cost. I figured, I rather lose them, than myself. I know there are many of you out there, just wanting to jump off the cliff for your dreams. I know you think about it all the time. I’m here to tell you your not alone. Chances are the guy next to you is thinking the same thing, however he or she listens to society. They listen to people who have failed, or those afraid to fail. When failure is just part of greatness.

I walk around with an invisible pair of headphones on. The world is at my feet, and the universe is my playground. I see so much positivity in our youth today. I see so much good in people in general. I realize we pretty much want the same things, however its just packaged differently. Everyone wants to live life to the fullest. Some of us just get our definitions from others, instead of digging deep within ourselves. You see the world worships originality. Just know that you are good enough. Be who you want to be and don’t ever apologize for being you.  We started Jun E Caniel for the people. People throughout our lives have given us hope, love, and have nurtured us in many different ways. I am forever thankful for all the people I have meet, who shape my life. I am thankful for all the conversation that have been shared, all the lessons learned, all the people who doubted us, all the people who are for us. I love them all. As I look back every person has played a huge part in our existence. They have played a huge part in this never ending quest to drastically improve humanity. This is something I will leave to the earth, the fact that we all are responsible for a better world. Soon the World will be Jun E!   I feel a shift and I know the time is coming! We love you!  Be Jun E!
