Staying Positive

In Daily Inspiration on March 4, 2011 at 2:24 pm

The mind is the most powerful muscle in the human body. It’s interesting how  our minds find a way to transform into physical reality the things we think about most. We almost always get what we expect. If you expect to fail, you can be sure that you will, and if you find something negative in every opportunity, nothing will ever work out positively for you. I’m also thankful the reverse is also true. If you are a happy, positive person, you will attract positive things.

You can keep your mind positive by eliminating negative thoughts the moment they begin to creep into your conscious mind. Usually when an undesirable thought comes to me, I say “Cancel, Cancel”!  If you dwell on the negative aspects of every opportunity, you will never accomplish anything worthwhile. Be  prudent about the risks you take, but don’t be frozen by fear of failure.

  1. Mind is the Master power that moulds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes
The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills,
Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills: —
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass:
    Environment is but his looking-glass.
    -James Allen

  2. Absolutely! That’s why it’s so important to surround yourself with positive people. Misery loves company and consciously or unconsciously the negativity of miserable people will rub its ugly effects on you if you allow it.

Even through our darkest days, terrible tragedies, and other mishaps of life, I truly believe that there is always a silver lining waiting for us. Think about it…natural disasters such as floods and wildfires almost always yield a rebirth of what is good and perfect in nature.

Lose the negative people, stay positive and expect the best and internalize the infamous words of Franklin D. Roosevelt; “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”!

  3. That is a one of the most powerful quotes! The interesting thing is, fear is created by us. Outside the confines of our minds fear does not really exist. It only exist when we created it. “A courageous man dies only once, while a coward die everyday”
