In Business, ECO-Friendly, Fashion on June 3, 2012 at 3:35 pm

Gucci recently launched a line of eco-friendly shoes to be environmentally friendly to planet earth. Designed by the amazing Frida Giannini, the Sustainable Soles footwear line includes two chic style – one for men and one for women – that are made with both biodegradable and plastic material. Although the line only comes in a one style per gender, these shoes are available in an array of colors including blush, taupe and black. But the men’s shoe does come in low AND high top with bio-rubber soles while the women’s style is a simply chic flat, perfect for Summer time.

The shoes feature cutout details and the company’s signature GG motif as well as features the Gucci logo printed in green on a recycled polyester label on the tongue for the men’s shoe.  This pre-fall collection will hit Gucci’s e-commerce as well as its flagships worldwide at the end of June. Check them out now though with this sneak peak.
