Dear young girl rising

Jun E Girls rising Don’t be afraid! You don’t need the permission of any one else but yourself.. It’s within you.. your greatness and in case you think you’re alone, look up! Hatshepsut, Nefertiti, Sammuramat, Cleopatra, Catherine de Medici, Elizabeth I, Mbande Nzinga, and Tiye just to name a few are waiting to see your next move… You’re not alone. From the beginning of time your kind has lead. You are the best leaders a world canJun E Girl rising ask for.

But I know the media shows you no love… They show the boxes that are “appropriate” for you under their jurisdiction.. lol Their Jurisdiction only exists to those who subscribe to it.  But I’m here to tell you there is no box big enough to contain you.. I know I’m asking you to be an example and not settle for a title or enough comfort to shut you up.. I don’t want you to be like those other women who have been educated Jun E Girls Rising to be tamed! Be educated to free yourself and all the others around you…

You are created for something very specific and enormous…  If you don’t believe it, call on Indira Gandhi, Margaret Thatcher, Golda Meir, Tzu-hsi, Joan of Arc, and Amina…. ItJun E Girls Rising might be a dream of mine but I see girls rising.. Rise up, young lady and be great… Be alive and show that light! Show that you cannot be comprehended without your permission… The world is your playground and the universe yours to create greatness. Leave your stench of greatness all throughout the world.. Girls rising, like heat… Like eagles… Like… Rise girl rise… it’s time!

Becoming yourself….. Jun E!

In Culture, Motivational Speaking, Thoughts on January 31, 2013 at 7:13 pm

Jun E Caniel “I’d rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.”  Who are you? You ever take a minute in silence to figure out who you are. How are you defined? Why do you do the things you? Is it because your brother, father, mother, sister, uncle, or friend do it? Why? I have discovered that most people do not know themselves. Scared of their own shadows,  they would rather live in societal shadows instead of stepping out into the sunshine of leadership and originality.   Why not Jun Estep out and create your own shadow?  Soak up the greatness of being who you really are without apologies?  Others are constantly searching for things, people, words, and societal doodads to define them.  You do not need those things!  Bombarded with traditions, and other people’s perceptions that imply that “something must be wrong with me”, we turn away from our true selves and fall into place with the ordinary shadows/shells of people who pursue to be nothing more than mediocre.  They are only following the made up perception that they were given, but they have so much more to offer. It is startling Jun E Caniel at times the depths of the things a person will do to feel loved, cool and wanted, when the answer seems so simple.  We are all in search of our own significance, and it stares us in the face when we hurriedly give ourselves a once-over in the bathroom mirror before rushing to our pressing mediocrity.  Life and the beautiful discovery of yourself are hard yet worthwhile. Why take the detour through The Land of Shadows? Be yourself, as God has made you and love that person.

Imagine……

In Culture, Daily Inspiration, Motivational Speaking, Thoughts on December 7, 2012 at 5:01 pm

Don’t want to wait till tomorrow. Why put it off another day! Imagine awaking everyday with this sick dream deep in your stomach. It growls like a Lion in the Sahara.  We smile thinking the hunger dreams will go away.. But it keeps growling louder and louder… We spent many years trying to hide it, but now it sticks out like a sore thumb.. Imagine people looking at you as if you had three heads without you having to utter a word.  Mediocre people flee from you at an alarming rate because they can’t take the heat of expectation and feel they must go.Jay and Tiya Caniel Often times we feel very alone and cold, like we are from Mars… We tried to change and fit in to make people feel more comfortable, but the truth is they will be uncomfortable regardless of what we do. So we’ve decided to not apologize for the vision and thoughts that the creator have planted in us… Jun E Caniel

Imagine people looking at you crazy because you do good deeds.. Imagine people attempting to turn pure positivity into something negative… The more real and positive we are it seems like the less support we get, but who cares?  It is our purpose, dream and vision to improve humanity with our lives. Regardless of who walks to the music, we will be dancing like crazy in Jun E Land!.. That is where we reside and Jun E Land is our bubble, if there was a bubble big enough to contain this. The quest for people who have an infinite capacity of not knowing what can be done has been interesting, and it will only get better.  See you at the top! Jun E!

Hijacked in San Francisco

In Business, Culture, Daily Inspiration, ECO-Friendly, Thoughts on November 11, 2012 at 5:23 pm

It seems like every city the Jun E Caniel team visits, we get hijacked. Coming to San Francisco to spread the brand proves to be no different.  After a long, successful day at the Green Festival we started to walk back to our hotel. This walk in itself was interesting with darkness settling in the city and the emergence of very off-beat characters.  In front of us was an older woman who we assumed was also walking back from the Green Festival.  At some point while walking, we passed her, but she was never far behind us.

We could hear her loud sneezes as we walk, and we would look back and say “Bless you”.  There was a string of off-beat characters moon walking, skipping, and talking to themselves on every block and we both would look back and check on the woman. Finally, at a crosswalk as we observed a young man skipping and dancing in the street as he almost got hit by a car.  None of this seemed to phase the man and he continued on his way as the three of us began to talk to one another about what had just happened.  We asked the woman what there was to do in the area and before we knew it, we were following her up Market Street.

Jay Caniel, Tiya Caniel, and Rose This offer of a walking tour of San Francisco at night was one we couldn’t resist. As we walked toward, Rose commentated every moment of the way.  “Here is our city hall it is so beautiful, and you must come back during the day to see it.  But look how beautiful it is all lit up now!”  Next was the old mint where they used to make money before the earthquake and fire of 1906.  Her excitement was intoxicating and contagious.  Walking by an ad on a building, Rose pointed and laughed at a picture of a woman’s feet and said “How’d you like to tickle those toes?”  Laughingly she apologized for her silliness.  She is a retired kindergarten teacher and can’t help it.

We ventured a ways to Westfield Mall, which is unbelievably huge and has the most beautiful dome ceiling.  Rose shared with us the history of the building and some of the stores there.  After leaving the mall, Rose excitedly brought us to a record shop called Rasputin Music, where grungy looking young men checked your bags at the front and operated the elevator inside.  Side note:  Whenever you enter the elevator, the guy operating it will be playing only his favorite tunes, which most will likely never have heard before.  Beside this amazing record shop is Blondie’s where you can get pizza by the slice.   We entered  hotels where presidents have stayed and we relished in perusing the pictures and memorabilia from long ago.  Our last stops included John’s Grill & Steakhouse (to see the maltese falcon from the 1941 movie “The Maltese Falcon”) and the park at Union Square.

What an amazing time!  At the end, we were very tired but it was well worth our time to have met and conversed with such a beautiful person as Rose.   We  are nothing but mirrors, reflecting what we have inside on others. Rose took the time out to make sure that we were educated on her city. You could feel the love, prosperity, and happiness that she possessed in her life.  We will always remember Rose and her Jun E love for her city.  She had us whirling through the streets of downtown San Francisco till we were breathless but still wanting more.  Thank you, Rose for sharing what you love most about this amazing place!  What a blessing you are!

Dear Dreams… Vol 1

In Culture, Daily Inspiration, Journal, Jun E Caniel Conversation Series, Motivational Speaking, Thoughts on October 8, 2012 at 3:57 pm

Dear Dreams,

You have been in my head from since the beginning of time. You have walked side to side with me when no one believed you exist.. I smile thinking about the time they told me I was just a dreamer… I fell in love with you because you loved me unconditionally. You gave me hope as I held on to your ideals. You’re with me when I’m awake and when I close my eyes each day. I can’t help but smile at the thought of you. This romance will probably go on forever, just me and you. The coolest thing is that the world gets to watch us, and although you appear invisible to them, they feel your presence. For many of the greats you have been their corner stone. I just hope that many more will fall in love with you the way we have. You blind us from such things as obstacles, failure, problems etc. Instead you give us opportunity, hope, and solutions… We love you and pray you upon many.. Dear Dreams.. Thank you! See you at the top!

The God Who Only Knows Four Words

In Culture, Motivational Speaking, Thoughts on July 29, 2012 at 12:26 am

Every
Child
Has known God,
Not the God of names,
Not the God of don’ts,
Not the God who ever does
Anything weird,
But the God who knows only four words.
And keeps repeating them, saying
“Come Dance with Me.”
Come
Dance
