Said good morning to the universe as she showed her face..                                   Perfectly beautiful as the sun rose and the moon rests for the day…

The trees blow giving us oxygen for the day…
I see smiles as I walk so it must be a good day…
Can’t afford to waste this away…
I wish you wealth, health, a sound mind, and day full of recess to play…

Smile

In Daily Inspiration, T-Shirts, Thoughts on July 26, 2014 at 4:42 pm

A reflection of teeth is what you see…
They paint a picture in my mind…
Sensations trickling down my spine…
Resulting in this smile…Tiya Caniel
Which ultimately displays my wealth of freedom this time…
Smiling to pass this trait on in time...
Praying more would be free to sigh…
Free to think
Free to look inside
Tears flow from my eyes…
This smile for all man kind…
Hope to see your reflection on a timeline
Forever in time….

Their eyes…

In Jun E Gives, Random Conversation, Thoughts on April 4, 2014 at 12:43 pm

My heart hurts knowing 19 million kids died today from preventable diseases… But it beats with hope to the melody of Hope… As the little minds sit backJun E Caniel Eyes and judge, my big mind keeps formulating and executing a plan for them… My lungs offer to give their last breath to them. My heart wants to give its last beat to them. My mind want to give its last thought to them… My pen just want to give its last line to them… Hope Hope Hope… Haunted every day by your dying eyes… Motivated by your smiles… Restored by your sighs and sign of life… Inspired by your fight… I love you… All the shots from the world made my shoulders strong enough carry you…

Jun E Tracks…

I’m not sure why you would want to be crammed into all these boxes when outside the boxes it looks like Paradise… It’s hard to see the beauty through the 3×5 square they cut you… Imagine that. Imagine being locked inside a box with a blue feeding tube… Imagine being programmed just like a computer… Imagine being treated like a dog… Imagine being given choices and your choices from that make you feel free… hmmm.. Imagine. No one should live like this, huh? Then look in the mirror… What will you do about it? I got a story to tell…

Jun E boysSo I closed my eyes and dreamed of Paradise till I became it. Hi! I’m Paradise… Perfect because of all my imperfections.. Smiling because you have no idea the pain it took to evoke this much joy. Still skipping because I’m used to hurdles… I should have run track…But on a different track. This track is for the people who die because lack of food. This track is for the little black boy who was told he would never be shit in a world… This track is for the little girl who thinks she has to be second class. This track is for kids with no arms, no feet, one ear, no sight, no sound… This track…. This music must play and it’s not a damn thing you can do about it! Yea! Paradise… It’s for the dreamers with anger problems… The dreamers who speak a different language than the rest.. The dreamers who were too brown to make a dent in this motherfucker! I ain’t mad lol… Paradise….

Boxing for All

In Uncategorized on June 11, 2013 at 4:02 pm

Jun E 4am It’s 4am and I am awake, bobbing and weaving to the piano strokes as if I am Floyd Mayweather…  But I am… We are both boxers, however we box different things… You see, I have trouble sleeping lately knowing there is so much to be done to improve humanity. Yeah, I wish I could give you this feeling, but at times it feels like a curse…It keeps us awake.  It haunts us. It’s hard sleeping knowing that 19,000 kids will die today from preventable diseases and conditions.  This is just on my mind, and I know it probably doesn’t concern you. Please pardon me as I go stand in the ring and prepare to fight…

We box for the people who can’t fight for themselves. We box for the ones with no arms, no sight, or no audible voice. We box for women around the world who are still mistreated. We box for people who want to be freed but are afraid, thinking the box they are given is their only choice…Jun E Gloves We box to spread the message that everyone has greatness inside them!  That piano…With each key stroke it signifies hope, another life saved, mission accomplished…

Will you box with us? Will you fight and live for something beyond yourself?  Will you fight and live for something worth dying for? It doesn’t by any means have to be for the same cause… We challenge you to LIVE and leave SOMETHING worth living for.

Faith Spawns Freedom: There is Infinite Freedom in Big Faith

In Culture, Daily Inspiration, JUN E LOVE, Thoughts, Uncategorized on December 15, 2012 at 7:08 pm

faith-vs-fearToday, faith and freedom are on my mind.  Since we’ve actively been exercising our faith in The Creator, ourselves and each other, our limitations have disappeared.  Gone are the worries and doubt.  They have been replaced with assurance and encouragement.  This is not to say that we do not encounter less than pleasant stepping stones in our journey however, our faith is what keeps us going in spite of.  The past few weeks have proven to be the ultimate illustration of how faith works in our lives.

Nothing gets us down these days.  We are merely free falling through space and time with confidence that our invisible net does exist and will do its job and catch us when needed.  This is what life is about!  We continue to take risks and put ourselves out there as we barrel towards our vision for Jun E Caniel and our family, and guess what?  Things work out.  The Creator never leaves us hanging and I know He/She has to be pleased with our progressively wild abandonment in our pursuit of happiness and in our legacy making actions.  The Creator has to be pleased in our newest discovery of what freedom truly is.

Freedom is the result of BIG faith.  I say this because it seems that in our lives the more faith we have, the more free we are in our actions and in our demeanor.  We have faith that we will be taken care of as long as we continue to operate in our purpose and do our half of the work.  The rest is up to The Creator. I am loving this free fall!  It’s thrilling and exciting in ways I never would have imagined, and it will become even more so as we grow in our faith.  You see, there is a special freedom in KNOWING you will not fall into oblivion and crack your head open.  Is this not the same freedom some children feel when they go out into the world and royally mess up, knowing they can go back home to their parents?243366_198601700264922_633257908_o

There is also freedom in letting go of our egos and simply being who we truly are without thought to how we will look or sound to others.  When we put our own feelings, fears and hang-ups aside, we are free to simply be.  We wish you many ego-free days of true freedom.

Hijacked in San Francisco

In Business, Culture, Daily Inspiration, ECO-Friendly, Thoughts on November 11, 2012 at 5:23 pm

It seems like every city the Jun E Caniel team visits, we get hijacked. Coming to San Francisco to spread the brand proves to be no different.  After a long, successful day at the Green Festival we started to walk back to our hotel. This walk in itself was interesting with darkness settling in the city and the emergence of very off-beat characters.  In front of us was an older woman who we assumed was also walking back from the Green Festival.  At some point while walking, we passed her, but she was never far behind us.

We could hear her loud sneezes as we walk, and we would look back and say “Bless you”.  There was a string of off-beat characters moon walking, skipping, and talking to themselves on every block and we both would look back and check on the woman. Finally, at a crosswalk as we observed a young man skipping and dancing in the street as he almost got hit by a car.  None of this seemed to phase the man and he continued on his way as the three of us began to talk to one another about what had just happened.  We asked the woman what there was to do in the area and before we knew it, we were following her up Market Street.

Jay Caniel, Tiya Caniel, and Rose This offer of a walking tour of San Francisco at night was one we couldn’t resist. As we walked toward, Rose commentated every moment of the way.  “Here is our city hall it is so beautiful, and you must come back during the day to see it.  But look how beautiful it is all lit up now!”  Next was the old mint where they used to make money before the earthquake and fire of 1906.  Her excitement was intoxicating and contagious.  Walking by an ad on a building, Rose pointed and laughed at a picture of a woman’s feet and said “How’d you like to tickle those toes?”  Laughingly she apologized for her silliness.  She is a retired kindergarten teacher and can’t help it.

We ventured a ways to Westfield Mall, which is unbelievably huge and has the most beautiful dome ceiling.  Rose shared with us the history of the building and some of the stores there.  After leaving the mall, Rose excitedly brought us to a record shop called Rasputin Music, where grungy looking young men checked your bags at the front and operated the elevator inside.  Side note:  Whenever you enter the elevator, the guy operating it will be playing only his favorite tunes, which most will likely never have heard before.  Beside this amazing record shop is Blondie’s where you can get pizza by the slice.   We entered  hotels where presidents have stayed and we relished in perusing the pictures and memorabilia from long ago.  Our last stops included John’s Grill & Steakhouse (to see the maltese falcon from the 1941 movie “The Maltese Falcon”) and the park at Union Square.

What an amazing time!  At the end, we were very tired but it was well worth our time to have met and conversed with such a beautiful person as Rose.   We  are nothing but mirrors, reflecting what we have inside on others. Rose took the time out to make sure that we were educated on her city. You could feel the love, prosperity, and happiness that she possessed in her life.  We will always remember Rose and her Jun E love for her city.  She had us whirling through the streets of downtown San Francisco till we were breathless but still wanting more.  Thank you, Rose for sharing what you love most about this amazing place!  What a blessing you are!
