When a Jun E Kid Grows Up…

In Daily Inspiration, Motivational Speaking, Thoughts, Uncategorized on August 27, 2013 at 6:23 pm

Just a weird kid wanting a different life.. Wanted to laugh, play and dance in the rain… I enjoyed playing with imaginary friends and creating bubble bath from soap… I sat at that table and was a bus driver… The best damn bus driver on the island. I sat in that living room and became a college and Jun E Caniel Olympic basketball player. But they told me I day dream too much. I never could quite understand their language, so they said that I don’t listen…  After achieving certain feats, my success was turned against me… So now I go from being labeled as the little boy who day dreams to the anti social adult. However still these eyes won’t go past six… You know the age where everything is new and not taken for granted.  You know the age where you get excited about a piece of candy, or just going outside and having a conversation with a friend…

Jun E Lion I realize now it will always be something… I realize there will always be more ants than eagles,  more crabs than lions.  There will be more workers than owners… More managers than leaders. I realize now how you’re treated when you’re a revolutionary… They hate you. They band together against you ’cause they can’t stomach the thought that the same  “unstable” boy who day dreamed  and made friends with notepads will someday… Will someday… will someday …

A Jun E Commitment

In Business, Culture, Motivational Speaking, Thoughts on April 6, 2013 at 5:49 pm

Jun E DreamsI must admit I’ve been at war with myself for the last couple months. Within the last five years I’ve had a mind shift that caused a war between the person I’m supposed to be and the person who society told me it was cool to be. I’m here to tell you my real self won that battle! It took a while to reprogram my mind from the world. The place you reside today is directly correlated with the environment of your mind five years ago. I’ve always known what I wanted to do butJun E Caniel Boutique the vehicle and the road I took was different. It was altered by the people I was around, the books I read, and lessons learned as I was growing up. Five years ago I cut out TV, and the people that I gave access to my life. I must tell you this was not easy at first, however it was necessary to achieve and embark on living my wildest dreams. My only goal was to spend my life improving humanity. I wanted to spend every waking minute doing what I deem important work.  I’m there! I recently quit my job and jumped head first into my dreams… Now in no way shape or form am I suggesting others do the same, nor should you do so without a clear purpose and plan. It’s a process and for me it was time. I felt like I was dying each moment I did work for a pay check.

If you feel like you have this undeniable urge to do something great, we encourage you to! It requires acting! It requires faith in yourself and an environment that will Jun Ehelp you grow. It requires commitment! Until you are committed, there is a hesitancy, a chance to draw back. But the moment you definitely commit yourself, then the creator moves also, and a whole steam of events erupt. All manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings, persons, and material assistance which you could never have dreamed would come your way begin to flow toward you—the moment you make a commitment to greatness! See you at the top!  www.jcaniel.com

A Question of Purpose

In Business, Culture, Daily Inspiration, Journal, Love, Motivational Speaking, Thoughts on June 5, 2012 at 5:36 pm

We come into the world bamboozled by the pressures of family, the media, and rhetoric from politicians. There is a certain standard set for each of our lives. The question is who sets these lofty standards? So most go on like a robot chasing things that in the end turn out to be unimportant. Things such as job titles, money, cars, houses, social statuses, etc. The list actually can go on for days. But how many of us really know our purpose? How many of us really know what we are designed to do? Is your legacy 20 years at a “job” and a ” retirement check”? Is your legacy yours? Is it something you were ever really interested in? Or is it something your friends, family or media told you was cool? Did you do it because you never wanted to struggle in life? Did you do it because you could possibly have control over people? Were you the kid who got picked on and you wanted to get back at others? OK, I will stop badgering you with questions most don’t want to answer. I guess we should be writing about the “House wives of _____” (you fill in the blank). Then maybe you would take more of an interest.

We are designed for a specific purpose. Deep down inside everyone of us lies a huge entity waiting to be UNLEASHED!  As I sat around this morning my mind was consumed with these thoughts. Sometimes we have to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of life and think. At Jun E Caniel we choose to focus on things that help us live.  An inspirational word, thought provoking questions, inspiring designs, empowering messages, and volunteering just to name a few. Don’t settle for a job, title, or career. Find your purpose in life and help others do the same. There is something out there bigger for all of us! We love you!
