Ambition! What exactly is ambition? I once heard a story of a blind boy paying his way to get his master’s degree at Northwestern University by taking notes on class lectures in braille, typing them, and selling copies to classmates who had stronger eyes but weaker ambition. You ever thought about what makes people successful? In life their are people with all the advantages, connections, education and experience, however they never seem to amount to much, while others who have had to struggle for everything, have reached incredible heights of success. It’s simple, if you have the will to succeed you will somehow find a way, regardless of the obstacles you encounter. Our strong belief in ourselves, passion and ambition to be successful helps us look beyond any obstacles. The successful person constantly paints a picture of success in their minds.
Do you use all of your assets to achieve goals, or are you handicapped by your lack of ambition? We cannot rely on anyone to create a desire to succeed in us. When we constantly badger ourselves with a picture of success, our minds gravitate towards it. Then we will start to see things all around that will help us achieve our goals. How True is this blog posting? Ambition separates good from great in every field and in all parts of life, I actually feel thats my ambition in life is what will get me over the hump in areas that i may lack in. I know when i wanna do something im willing to die for it period thats it. Its great to surround yourself around people with the same mindset because those people actually keeps your ambition where it needs to be. There will people that don’t believe in what you wanna do or what you wanna be those are the people that you prove wrong like rapper Sean Carter aka Jayz said in his song So ambitious ”
“Even betters what my uncle did,
I pop my demo tape in start to beat my head,
Peaked out my eye, see if he was beating his,
He might as well say beat it kid, he’s on the list”
His own uncle didnt believe in his rapper ability thats his own blood, but it didnt stop him he just added him on the LIST of people that he would prove wrong. in that same song Jayz explains how he cant stop dreaming and doing what he wanna do because the world says we wont make it or the world dont like us.
The world don’t like us, is that not clear, alright,
But I’m different, I can’t base what I’m gonna be off a what everybody isn’t,
They don’t listen, just whispering behind my back,
No vision, lack of ambition,
So wack!
So I encourage everybody that reads this post that have crazy super stupid AMBITION and folk tell you your crazy just laugh and put them in the LIST
That is a great example of ambition Moses. I have discovered a few things in this life. First the world embraces and worships originals. It’s interesting because most of those people are too afraid to jump off the cliff for their dreams. So on the way up, during the struggle they are absent, however when we seem to break through to the top, here they come filled with comments such as: “I know he would do it”. We have to keep our eyes on the prize and that’s maximizing everything we have on this earth. That’s giving back to humanity with every inch we gain. Be Jun E!
