It’s Time!

In Thoughts on November 28, 2010 at 4:02 am

It’s time! Everyone has an internal time clock inside of them that gives off signals. Some call it a gyroscope, intuition, gut, etc. Whatever you choose to name yours, we all come equipped with it.  Like most things, we tend to ignore that very thing that has been with us from the beginning of our existence.  They say all good things come to an end. This weekend part of me died, spawning birth in another part of me. Birth is a very exciting time in our lives. A time where we tend to be stimulated by new possibilities, and ideas. Our minds race, just thinking about the roads it will lead us down. The feeling I’m describing is living. We must live! Everyday we have the opportunity to create new beginnings, instead of settling for mundane past. We must live in the present to create the future. I feel really Jun E right now. Knowing that I’m not neglecting the lion within me. I spend time each day learning to listen to my inner lion and finding ways to tap into my Jun E and unleash the lion within me.  All of us have the same capacity and opportunity to discover our greatness,  however some choose to spend time watching TV, working dead end jobs, associating with people not going up, and the list continues. It’s my time to put down the old me and pick up the new. It’s time to physically relocate and meet new people interested in making the most of their lives. Its time to work for the best, be the best, and except only the best in my life. It’s time to stand up everyday, every minute, every second and die for what we believe in. It’s time to spend more time learning ourselves and listening to ourselves, versus becoming critical of others. Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better. It’s time!  Be Jun E !

Just thinking…..

In Uncategorized on November 25, 2010 at 7:49 am

I’m on the road again, this time headed to Melbourne, Florida. It’s 2:21  AM on Thanksgiving, and I am thankful! I’m up thinking about the next move, the next project, where we will end up and what we will become. Our mission has always been simple: use our talents to improve humanity. It’s a goal that I’m willing to spend my entire life to accomplish. With each day we get one step closer through strategic and intentional acts. The book… Just thinking what do people need to know? What do they want to know? Although information is readily available, I still find that the vast majority does not have access to it.  The same situation oversees with food. Food in America happens to be abundant. So abundant, that we throw it away daily, however there are countries starving. I find that our youth are starving for knowledge in the same way. They want love, discipline and a chance to be Jun E!  We must provide it for them, or we have failed. I spend countless hours up just thinking of ways to reach them.

I have decided that the first book will be about knowing ones self. I have met countless adults who did not know themselves.    How did we get to this point? Is it a point of no return? I happen to be  an optimist! I  believe this generation can turn it around. I believe that race one day will not be an issue. I believe that we can raise a group of leaders who will not settle for less! I believe that all of us have a unique talent, which is unmatched by any other being. Life has so much to offer, so why settle. We can not be afraid to give up security for significance, financial gain for future potential, immediate pleasure for personal growth, and acceptable for excellence.  We love you and Be Jun E!  Let’s change the world!

Rebelling Against the Norm

In Thoughts on November 24, 2010 at 5:16 am

It is so easy to feel bogged down by the daily happenings of a seemingly purposeless existence.  It’s so easy to succumb to a “woe is me” attitude and eventually conform to the miserable normalcy of being mediocre and satisfied with the status quo. What a chore it is, sometimes, to overcome the oppression of contentment and comfort to rebel against the norm! It is necessary to do so however.  You see, we never know who is watching us and looking at us for an example on how to act.  We never know how we influence others.  Instead of wallowing in self-pity, frustration, and overall negativity we should focus on the positive.  Squeeze everything you can out of every experience, and work  to make a positive impact in others’ lives.  I know it gets hard sometimes and it’s far easier to surrender, but the sweet triumph of rebelling against the norm can be so much sweeter!  If you are not happy, change your life.  Create something wonderful and delicious!  Make it worth while!  Or acknowledge that so far it has already been worth while.  Reach inside and start using your Jun E!

Where are you going?

In Thoughts on November 18, 2010 at 4:31 pm

Where are you going? This is a question I often ask myself on a daily basis. These days life is moving faster and faster. I want more and more, and at times it doesn’t seem like I’m getting the answers I want.  Most hard workers and great leaders are impatient. We believe so much  in what we are doing, and often times not seeing the result as fast as we would love to.  Believe me, I feel this pain everyday, however I know  my time is coming soon.  You see, their comes a time in every person life, a special moment when they are tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a very special thing, unique to them and fitting their talents. We must be prepared for this moment. I believe our preparation comes in the times when we don’t feel we are moving fast enough.  It comes in the smaller minutes that precede that final hour.  If we are not willing to take care of the small difficulties, we can not expect to be able to rise to meet the big ones. Remember where there is struggle there is life!  We have traveled along too far on the road to stop now! We must humble ourselves and pick up that heavy load and continue on the road. The road that we are destined to be on. The road that leads us to our bliss. The road that we have dreamed of for so long!  Where are you going? I say I’m going to the top! I will meet you there! Be Jun E! Where are you going?

Time

In Uncategorized on November 17, 2010 at 2:08 pm

A wise man once said, ” Don’t manage your time, manage your life”. I woke up this morning with time on my mind. A close friend that I mentor, recently got into a car accident and realized how precious his time is. The beauty in life is the fact that a split second can change our lives for good. The tragedy is that the same split second can end it. We cannot wait till our lives flash before our eyes to start living. We must make decisions and mange our lives daily. Today is the only thing that is promised to us. Manage yourself! Nothing separates successful people from unsuccessful people more than how they use their time. Until next time, be Jun E!

I still find each day too short….

For all the thoughts I want to think,

For  all the walks I want to take,

For all the books I want to read,

For all the friends I want to see.

Jun E loves take control of your time by managing your life!

Legacy

In Thoughts on November 10, 2010 at 2:36 pm

I woke up this morning feeling Jun E! With tons of thoughts on my mind I found myself thinking about the road ahead. I think to myself what is life really all about? Random thoughts on my mind about leaving a legacy in this world. Thinking I can not leave this earth with my music inside of me.  My drive for life is so strong it leaves me often times talking to myself. I know somebody out there understand, however it seems like there few and far between these days. I guess that’s why we are the top 1 percent. For the life of me I don’t understand how people take there talents, time, and life for granted.

Later this morning I moved on to a conversation with my big brother. The more my mind elevates the less people stimulate me in conversation,  but he understands the struggle of forging yourself in this life and not sitting back and waiting.  I can’t wait for success, so I guess I need to move on without it. It ultimately finds us! In the end I believe it all works out. I believe we can start a movement of greatness. The Jun E movement! I believe we have more in us as human beings. I’m looking for those eagles that want to soar. We need you!  To the rest of the world Jun E loves you!

What Are You Willing to Die For?

In Thoughts on November 8, 2010 at 5:10 pm

What are you willing to die for? You see, every day we die.  Whether we like it or not we essentially live to die each day. So everything we do and say represents what we are willing to die for. We pay for everything with our lives, our precious time.  Everyone should live their lives to represent an ideal. I represent greatness! Jun E ! I live everyday like it was my last, and spread love to the world without fear of running out. These days life looks a lot different to me. I figure, what the heck! I might as well be crazy enough to go forward to live out my dreams. Especially since the next man is scared to live his. He’d rather die for what society tells him. We here at Jun E Caniel believe that greatness lies within everyone, if you just take the time to mine it.

I’m willing to live and die to leave the legacy that I was born to carry out. Death! I often think about my final hours. I imagine myself lying in that cold hospital room with a crowd of people looking at me. It’s funny, at no time do money, cars, houses, women, hobbies, or enemies come to mind. I think about giving all to humanity. Did I leave anything in my frail body? Did I greatly improve the global community? Did I tell everyone I loved them enough? Did I teach my kids to look inside, and not society because all the power they ever want is within them? Did I encourage all to strive for greatness in all aspect of life? Did I leave an example for the people I lead? What are you willing to die for? Think about it. We don’t have the luxury of knowing when that time will come.  Instead we must live each moment with a reckless abandon.

Family Ties

In Uncategorized on November 3, 2010 at 4:16 am

This is a crucial time for Jun E Caniel…  Jun E is only a few months old and needs a lot of love and time.  As its parents, Jay and I spend a lot of  quality time with Jun E.  We nurture it and feed it.  We make sure its needs are met before our own.  It’s been a great journey thus far, however some people who started out with us have not been able to keep up or get used to our precious time being taken up by this entity that is Jun E Caniel.  On the other hand, there is a group of people who remain right beside us.  They give us the motivation and encouragement we need. They are our family…  Amazingly, we seem to have created our own family!

Our family keeps morphing and transforming.  We realize more and more that family goes beyond blood relatives.  We are so thankful for our Jun E family!  We love you endlessly for the continuous support, for sharing your dreams with us, for listening to and believing in ours.  See, that is what family is all about.  When I am in the presence of my people, my family, I feel like I’m home.  My heart is full and I am happy to be with you.  I am so proud of you all!  I see your growth and it’s absolutely beautiful.  What a blessing!  I wanted to share what is on my heart.  It’s full of so much love for you all.  Let’s continue to support one another and grow into our wonderful Jun E selves.  Stay Jun E, fam!  We love you so much!

Tough Times

In Thoughts on November 1, 2010 at 3:37 am

We have the privilege of mentoring many people in this lifetime. As I write this post I am reminded of a quote my college coach once told me. He said, “tough times don’t last, but tough people do.” How tough are you? Did you fold the last time you went through something hard? Do you find yourself giving up too easily without a fight? Recently I was able to experience a random conversation about the trials and tribulations of life. People often get down on themselves when things do not go their way. They feel weak when overcome by the pressures and issues of life.

Here is a little Jun E advise to get you through the day. First off, life itself is very hard. Don’t let anyone fool you! Second, where there is stuggle there is life. We are very strong people! The human race has overcome  various forms of slavery,a holocaust, a tsunami here and there, etc. We continue to fight  battles against AIDS and world hunger these days, and soon those two will be conquered. When life seems to be getting too hard for you, just remember you are part of the human race that overcomes! Be Jun E!
